In the township the population was spread out, with 22.1% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 21.4% from 25 to 44, 32.8% from 45 to 64, and 17.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 2.71. 21.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 55 households, out of which 25.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.3% were married couples living together, 3.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.6% were non-families. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.58% of the population. The racial makeup of the township was 93.89% White, 0.76% Asian, 4.58% from other races, and 0.76% from two or more races.
